FAQs
What is a gallery opening? The 1st day a gallery show opens to the public. Typically, galleries will host receptions and some will provide free, small servings of wine or beer (to persons 21+) to celebrate the occasion.
When do gallery openings occur? During peak seasons (Fall & Spring), they could happen any day of the week, but mostly on Thursdays & Fridays (6-8 pm).
When do you post? 24 hours in advance (around 6 pm) to provide the most up-to-date list. We do not post lists for Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays. If you don’t see a list posted, check our stories.
Are gallery openings free? Do I have to RSVP? Most are free and don’t require RSVP. We try our best to notate when an event is ticketed or needs RSVP. Please contact the gallery directly with any questions and always adhere to what they may communicate at the door.
Is there a dress code or etiquette? No dress code. Don’t touch the art. Show respect to the space and gallery staff. Remember, you are NOT at a club or bar. Free drinks are never guaranteed and are a privilege.
What are galleries’ regular hours? Usually Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 6 pm. Always check the gallery website before heading out.
How do you get your information? From various websites, Instagram, and submissions from the community. Listings are subject to change and human error.
How do I submit an event? Via the Submission form on our website, preferably at least 48 hours in advance. Please note, we only list fine art events.

What do the emojis mean? The emojis indicate what is expected to be available for free at each event. These are subject to change and human error.
